Track 3 from our 3rd album Kites. This one started out as a bit of joke, written at my parent’s holiday house.
The brass score was written by Gordon and features Mik and Gordon, and their late father Brian on saxophone, which makes it a pretty special song for us.
The clarinet solo was performed by Dave Paxton, back in the 90s Dave played in a local band called Lisa’s Friends, they were a great band.
Dave rocked up to my house one day on his motorcycle, produced a clarinet and proceeded to improvise an amazing solo.
